We are continuing attempts to locate Douglas' family in order to have the body released so that we may continue with memorial service arrangements.
This online memorial blog is being posted, initially, by Anthony Nowak and John DiMase as a forum to relay and obtain accurate information (as best we are able) regarding the events surrounding the remembrance of Douglas Henriksen (1974 - 2004).
In the interim, we stumbled across this article from the University of Syracuse the year he graduated college, as Valedictorian. We thought not only was it a good way lay a foundation for his background, but it really sort of sums up him as a person it a lot of ways we may have not been able.
